  • Jr. Veterinary Lab ─  Starts October 4. (Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 p.m.; $5 per child; ages 6 to 10.)
  • Hatchling Tales Story Time Starts October 1. (Sundays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.; free; age 5 and younger.) 
  • Juno Dunes Natural Area Hike Starts October 31 with a special Halloween-themed hike. (Fridays at 10:30 a.m.; free; all age.)
  • Kids Fishing Program Starts October 2. (Alternating Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.; $10 per child; ages 10 to 14.)
  • Living Beaches – . Starts October 6. (Mondays at 10:30 a.m.; free; age 8 and older.)
  • Sensory Saturdays –  (First Saturday of the month at 9 a.m.; free; all ages.)
  • Little Naturalist –  Starts October 2. (Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.; $5 per child; ages 2 to 5.)
  • By the Sea Lecture Series ─ (Third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; $20 per person; age 18 and older.)

Charlie HATES summer camp! After plotting her escape and sneaking out of her assigned cabin one night, she stumbles upon a friendly group of young campers deep in the woods. They promise to help Charlie get home, but she must agree to spend the night listening to their strange and spooky campfire stories. Will Charlie survive the night and their haunting tales? Will you? 
 
Local playwright & educator, Gina Montét, returns to The Lab with her newest show, commissioned specifically for our annual Heckscher Theatre for Families Production, based on spooky stories from classic literature updated for our modern times. Heebie Jeebies is a hilarious evening of thrills & mild chills and the perfect family outing for those who enjoy “Goosebumps” and “The Twilight Zone.”
 
📝FREE Creative Writing Workshop for students in grades 4-12
Give your student an edge on writing and submitting a story of their own to our Future PAGES Project and join us for the same “Parts of a Story” workshop we provide to school partners. Workshop begins at 2pm and light snacks are provided!

Join us for tasty s’mores cooked by YOU on our patio starting at 6pm!

Come get smART at Saturday Morning Art.  This family program for children (ages 5+) with their caregiver is fun for all.  For October, Janet Gold will lead our artmaking focusing on art by Richard Long from Bristol, England.  Registration is required.

Palm Beach Symphony Presents “A TV Guide to the Orchestra” in the Dale A. McNulty Children’s Concert Series at Kravis Center on October 5

alm Beach Symphony Music Director Gerard Schwarz will conduct A TV Guide to the Orchestra, the latest installment in the Dale A. McNulty Children’s Concert Series, on Sunday, October 5 at 3 p.m. at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. This family-friendly production is in collaboration with Young Artists from the Goldner Conservatory at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.

 

Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for adults. Tickets may be purchased online at palmbeachsymphony.org and are also available at the Palm Beach Symphony Box Office
